Reception has had a wonderful first week. We are learning to know each other, our classmates and our new teachers. Children spent some time exploring their new environment, as well as working with their teachers to show their phonics skills and letter formation. It has been a busy week and children have been adapting well and showing their eagerness to learn!
In Maths children worked on recognising numerals 0-5 with numbers of personal significance. They have enjoyed counting the candles on our play dough cakes.
In Topic and PSHE, we have discussed the things we like and children made lovely posters.
We are looking forward to seeing you all on Monday!
